Tottenham Hotspur suffered their first defeat over the weekend.

Jermaine Jenas has slated Tottenham Hotspur attacking duo Harry Kane and Lucas Moura for their performance against Newcastle on Sunday.
The BBC Sport pundit claimed that both players were ‘not aware’ of what was going on in the game as he believes that Kane, in particular, produced a poor display during both halves against Newcastle.
Despite Spurs failing to produce their best in the attacking third, Kane and Moura still had chances to find the back of the net, but they fluffed their chances.
Former Premier League midfielder Jenas was critical of the manner in which Pochettino’s side played in front of their own supporters as they suffered their first defeat of the campaign.
“Spurs players are trying to force their passes,” Jenas told BBC Sport. “You have four players literally going for the same ball, the same spaces. It’s not working.

“Players like Harry Kane and Lucas Moura are just not aware of what is going on in the game. Kane has been poor both halves. It was similar against Aston Villa but then he popped up and scored.
“However, I would like to see more from him, see him get deeper and have more of an influence on the game.”
Kane has scored two goals from his opening three Premier League matches, but both those strikes came during their opening day win against Aston Villa.
Spurs’ performances will worry Mauricio Pochettino because they left it late to beat Villa, were battered by Manchester City and now they have dropped their first points of the campaign.
