Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side cruised to success yesterday, with Heung-Min Son scoring.

Jermaine Jenas of Spurs looks on from the bench during the Barclays Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City at White Hart Lane on April 9, 2011 in London, England.

Jermaine Jenas has told BT Sport during their live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Leicester City that Heung-Min Son shouldn’t even be talking about luck, after his goal at the King Power Stadium.

Son suggested that he had got lucky with his strike in his post-match interview, after hitting the first goal of the contest.

However, Jenas has suggested that Son has practiced cutting inside and shooting so much that it has become a skill now.

He said: “It’s interesting to hear his interview and he associated practicing and luck in the same sentence. That’s not true at all. There’s no luck about it. I’ve seen him do it for Tottenham four or five times.

“The quality he possesses in what is his so called weaker foot. Most players wouldn’t even look at doing that. For him to do that in both feet is scary.”

Son’s goal broke the deadlock at Spurs and inspired his team to pick up what was a comfortable victory in the end.

Tottenham had struggled over the early part of the contest, but Son’s moment of magic seemed to spark them into life.

Spurs never looked back after taking the lead, with Dele Alli adding a second to secure the three points.

Tottenham are now in third place in the Premier League table, and have already won eight games on their travels so far this season.
