Tottenham Hotspur sold Kieran Trippier in the summer transfer window.
The former Tottenham midfielder has suggested that Serge Aurier has not been a success at the North London club.
Jenas has also suggested Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino does not have much faith in 22-year-old right-back Kyle Walker-Peters.
The 36-year-old has further suggested that 21-year-old Argentina international central defender Juan Foyth will be deployed as a right-back.
Jenas told BBC Sport: “I am more worried about the right-back position after losing Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid because Pochettino does not seem to have much faith in Kyle Walker-Peters and things have not worked out for Serge Aurier.
“It looks like Juan Foyth is going to be Pochettino’s man to fill the gap, but we will have to wait a little longer to find out because he has been sidelined by an ankle injury.”
Problem position?
Kyle Walker was one of the best right-backs in Tottenham’s recent history, and the North London outfit have not really found a suitable replacement for the England international since he left for Manchester City.
Kieran Trippier did well, but the England international right-back was not at the same level as Walker, and his departure to Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window has left Spurs boss Pochettino with a problem.
Tottenham are challenging for the Premier League title this season and will also hope to go far in the Champions League.
