Michel Vorm has been at Tottenham Hotspur since 2014.

Jermaine Jenas has told BBC Radio 5 Live that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Michel Vorm lacks the skills to make decisions.

Vorm is essentially the second-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham and is below France international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in the pecking order.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper has played twice in the Premier League so far this season and played just 90 minutes in the league during the 2017-18 campaign, according to WhoScored.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jenas believes that Vorm lacks decision-making skills as a goalkeeper.

Jenas told BBC Radio 5 Live: “Michel Vorm, I don’t think, makes any decisions. I feel like he just sits there. If he has got a save to make, he will make it.”

Vorm is a good goalkeeper, but the Dutchman has been essentially a squad player at Tottenham since his move from Swansea City in the summer of 2014.

Given that the Dutchman is now 35 years of age, it is hard to see him challenge Lloris for the number one spot.

With the goalkeeper out of contract at Tottenham in the summer of 2019, maybe Tottenham should start looking at a younger player for the same position to challenge Lloris.
