Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino helped his side qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Pochettino masterminded yet another famous night in Tottenham history yesterday, as they picked up a point against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
Spurs needed to match Inter Milan’s result against PSV to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League, and they did so in dramatic circumstances.
Tottenham looked to be heading out of the competition as their match at Barca entered the closing stages.
However, Lucas Moura finished off a brilliant team goal to ensure that Tottenham got through.
And Jenas feels that Pochettino’s management of Tottenham is the key reason behind their success.
He said: “As individuals he is making them better footballers and better men. Even with Walker-Peters he got off to a tough start, the faith he had in him, he still said I’m going to send you out there.
“He took him off in the end, but the players appreciate those sort of things and repay him.
“The tough start they had to the season and what was there Pochettino works on and he’s starting to get paid back by the players.
“Add to that the tactical nous and the odd risk he takes, by having every attacking player on the pitch, he got what he deserved. Spurs are very fortunate to have him.”
Tottenham will now found out who they face in the Champions League knockout stages when the draw is made on Friday.
