Tottenham Hotspur & Liverpool will go head-to-head in the Champions League final on June 1 in Madrid.

Jermaine Jenas has surprisingly claimed that Tottenham ‘don’t have any other’ midfield player who can ‘cover ground’ like Harry Winks does ahead of their showdown with Liverpool.
For large parts of the season, the revived powerhouse Moussa Sissoko has showcased that he can cover the ground Winks does, if not more, hence the surprise at Jenas’ comments.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will be preparing his team for their Champions League final against Liverpool in Madrid, with Winks hoping to start or at the very least be named on the bench.
Former Premier League player Jenas stated that he would start Winks against Liverpool as he explained his decision behind this thought process.
“The decisions on Harry Winks and Roberto Firmino are simpler: both must play,” Jenas told the Daily Mail. “Spurs don’t have any other midfielder who covers the ground like Winks.
There is a tactical need for his mobility. In the Premier League, 42 per cent of Liverpool’s assists have come from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson at full-back.
“So Spurs will have to ask Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier to play aggressively high up the pitch, as they did in the September meeting between the sides even though they lost, and keep Alexander-Arnold and Robertson occupied. That will leave Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld to deal with Liverpool’s front three — so they will need help from Winks and Moussa Sissoko in midfield.”

A big game awaits the English duo as one team from the Premier League will be walking away with the European Cup.
Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp have a number of big decisions to make on the day, namely whether the likes of Harry Kane or Roberto Firmino start following their return from injuries.
Whatever the duo decide could have a big bearing on the match because starting either of them from the bench could be as equally as devastating.
