Tottenham Hotspur stormed to success over Leicester City yesterday, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side impressing.

Spurs started the game in a diamond shape, but changed to utilise wing-backs during the first-half.
The tactical swap made a big impact, as it enabled Tottenham to start to grab a stranglehold in the match.
Son Heung-Min suddenly had more space to work in up-front, and he made the most of it to curl in a wonderful effort from range to put Tottenham in the lead.
After that, Spurs marched to victory, with Dele Alli adding a second to seal a comprehensive three points.
And Jenas felt that Pochettino’s decision to use Aurier and Davies was highly effective.
“He was playing with a diamond initially. They struggled with width,” Jenas said.

“I felt that Dele, Moura and Son were too narrow and they were trying to go through the strongest part of Leicester’s team.
“The minute he changed it and went to a three, as much as I think Serge and Davies aren’t natural wing-backs, they’re still there. They were stretching them out so the gaps appear for Son to drop in to, as he did for the goal.”
Tottenham’s win over Leicester is their eighth away win of the season, with Pochettino’s side now in third place in the Premier League table.
