Eddie Nketiah came on as a substitute for Leeds United against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Nketiah, signed on loan from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, came on as a substitute at the start of the second half during the Yorkshire derby between Wednesday and Leeds.
The 20-year-old striker did not score, as the Championship game ended in a goalless draw, but former Leeds star Beckford was impressed with the youngster and was pleasantly surprised by his display.
Beckford said on Sky Sports Football (2:45pm, October 26, 2019): “I thought he did very well. Again, he impressed. His movement was very good. His strength was very, very good.
“It was surprising if I’m honest with you. I didn’t think he was as strong as he is. He held off a lot of the defenders. He dropped the shoulder, he got about the pitch, he made good passes, and he was very good.”
Good performance from Eddie Nketiah
Nketiah may not have scored against Wednesday, but it was a very encouraging performance from the Arsenal-owned striker.
The England Under-21 international striker worked hard for the team, made some brilliant runs, and created chances for his teammates.
According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old took one shot which was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 81.8%, won one header, took 28 touches, attempted three dribbles, and made one tackle and one clearance.
