Leeds United picked up a fine win on Monday night, coasting past Crystal Palace with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

The Whites were beaten by Everton at Elland Road last week, and needed to hit back after some patchy home displays of late.

They took an early lead as Jack Harrison fired past Vicente Guaita with the aid of a deflection, with Palace unable to cope with Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Patrick Bamford added a second after the break, tapping home after Guaita had denied Raphinha’s left-footed effort.

Leeds could have had more on another day, but they will gladly take a comfortable victory – and the performance of Raphinha was a huge talking point.

The Brazilian has been unstoppable of late, turning in scintillating performances for weeks now having arrived from Rennes in October.

Raphinha’s touch and weight of pass was outstanding throughout, and one moment really caught the eye was he produced a stunning piece of skill to bamboozle Gary Cahill.

Leeds hero Jermaine Beckford took to Twitter to rave about Raphinha’s trickery, shouting ‘stop it!’ at his TV as the winger continues to make himself an Elland Road favourite.
