The 24-year-old striker scored a hat-trick for the Three Lions, as Gareth Southgate’s side got the better of Panama 6-1 to book their place in the last-16 stage of the competition.

Defoe played with Kane at Tottenham and England, and the 35-year-old former West Ham United striker has sent a message to the Spurs star on Twitter.
The Bournemouth striker has praised Kane for his heroics for England, and has also – jokingly – suggested that he taught his former Tottenham teammate well.
Kane was brilliant for England against Panama, and the England international will now be confident of winning the World Cup Golden Boot in Russia this summer.
England will next face Belgium in their final group game and will be aiming to win in order to finish top.
