Rangers striker Jermain Defoe has said on Premier Sports that he and his Ibrox teammates are looking forward to playing against Celtic in the Scottish Cup.
Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will take on bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup this season.
Rangers have got the better of Cove Rangers 4-0 at Ibrox this evening. The draw was made before the game.
Defoe has said that he and his Rangers teammates are looking forward to the tie against Celtic at Ibrox which will be played later this month.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United striker said on Premier Sports when asked about facing Celtic: “We are looking forward to it. It’s the game everyone looks forward to, not just us, but the club, the fans, everyone.”
Mouth-watering clash
Rangers have already won the Scottish Premiership title this season, and the Gers are on a high.

Gerrard will be determined to go all the way in the Scottish Cup, and the Liverpool legend would love to beat Celtic and pile even more misery on them.
The Hoops could not achieve their objective of winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th year in a row this season and did not do well in the Europa League either. Rangers reached the Europa League Round of 16.
