Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers announced Jermain Defoe’s deal today.

Well, Jermain Defoe to Rangers is officially a done deal.
Rangers announced the stunning capture on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.
The 36-year-old striker has joined the Scottish giants on an 18-month loan from Bournemouth.
And here’s how the legendary hitman reacted to the move:
So much has been written about Defoe’s potential move to Ibrox in recent days, but this really is a fantastic addition by Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.
He might be a bit long in the tooth for Premier League football, but he could, and probably will, tear Scotland’s top flight a new one.
If Kenny Miller is still a force to be reckoned with in the Premiership, then Defoe, who has 162 English top-flight goals under his belt, can definitely take the division by storm.

The Tottenham legend is also three years younger than Miller, which also bodes very, very well.
According to The Record, the evergreen marksman will now join Rangers’ winter training camp in Tenerife.
The Blues first fixture after the hiatus is a Scottish Cup trip to Cowdenbeath on January 18, where Defoe might hope to make his debut.
