Rangers striker Jermain Defoe believes a number of players want to move to Ibrox.

Rangers striker Jermain Defoe has told The Scottish Sun that some of his former teammates have been telling him that they want to join the club.
The Gers swooped to land Defoe in January, taking him on an 18-month loan deal after he failed to impress at Bournemouth.
Defoe subsequently reunited with his ex-England international teammate Steven Gerrard at Ibrox, and his move to Glasgow has been justified so far.
The 36-year-old hit eight goals in 18 games for the Gers to end last season, and he may well start the season as Rangers’ first-choice striker ahead of Alfredo Morelos.
Defoe is the biggest name signing Rangers have made since Gerrard’s appointment, but that just goes to show the pulling power of the former Liverpool captain.
Rangers fans will be hoping for more significant signings moving forward under Gerrard, and Defoe himself as commented on the club’s allure.

Defoe has admitted that a number of his former teammates have been telling him that they want to join Rangers, as they can see how much he’s enjoying his time at Ibrox.
Defoe stopped short of sharing names of players, but Defoe’s comments should be hugely exciting for Rangers fans both for this transfer window and those to come.
“There is expectation and demand from the fans but that’s a good thing. I’ve had a lot of my ex team-mates message me saying they want to come here too,” said Defoe. “I’m not mentioning any names but, seriously, I’ve had a lot of messages from people asking me to speak to the manager because they can see I’ve really enjoyed it.”
