Sunderland winger Jeremain Lens says he will keep working hard for the team.
Jeremain Lens was expected to leave Sunderland this summer, with Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Besiktas linked with a move for the player.
According to The Sunderland Echo, the 29-year-old forward is still expected to leave before the end of the summer transfer window, but he has pledged to keep working hard for the team.
The winger joined Fenerbahce on loan last term where he scored five goals in 33 appearances in all competitions.

His attitude often called into question, but Sunderland could reap benefit if Simon Grayson can get the best out of him.
Lens scored a screamer in Sunderland’s 3-2 win over Bradford, and notched his third goal of the pre-season in the process. He also scored two excellent goals against Hartlepool United and Livingston.
The former PSV Eindhoven player has vowed to “do everything for the club”, and “keep fighting” for the team as long as he is a Sunderland player.
“The most important part of pre-season for the team – and also myself – is making sure you’re fit so you have to keep working hard to become as fit as possible,” said Lens as quoted by The Sunderland Echo.
“I’m a Sunderland player and because of that I’ll do everything for the club, so I’ll keep fighting and work hard for the team. And hopefully keep scoring goals!”
Simon Grayson has recently hinted that Lens may still has a chance to revive his career at the Stadium of Light. With Sunderland short of forward option, Lens can make a strong impact at Championship level.
