West Bromwich Albion are said to be interested in snapping up the Besiktas winger Jeremain Lens.
Lens, who currently plays for Besiktas, could be available for transfer this summer – and West Brom are reportedly keen to bring him back to England.
Lens spent time at Sunderland during the 2015/16 campaign, and he was a major reason why the Black Cats were able to stay up.
Since, his attitude has come under question, and Lens has been loaned out to both Fenebache and Besiktas in recent seasons.
Besiktas bought Lens this summer, but could make a swift profit on him, and sell to West Brom according to reports.
If Lens does arrive at the Hawthorns he could be an appealing addition for Darren Moore’s side, as he would have the potential to tear up the Championship.
Lens has pace to burn, is a good finisher and has a trick up his sleeve.
He boasts experience of playing in the Champions League, and across a number of top divisions in Europe.
West Brom’s attack would look much more threatening with him involved.
And if Moore could get Lens fully fit and focused, then West Brom would have one of the most dangerous forward players in the Championship.
