Jenson Brooksby enjoyed a fantastic comeback season on the ATP Tour in 2025, following his suspension from the sport.
The American shot back up the rankings from 1091 to inside the top 50, which is where he finished his campaign.
Brooksby won the first title of his career in 2025, having achieved the feat at the Houston Clay Court Championship, beating countryman Frances Tiafoe in the final.
Now, the 25-year-old will look to get off to a positive start in 2026; a year he has set big goals for.

Jenson Brooksby’s goal for the 2026 ATP season
In an interview with Tennis Channel, Brooksby said: “The first goal, now that I’m ranked 50 in the world, is to be top 40 at the end of the Australian swing.
“That’s a big one for me in terms of ranking goals. I have nothing to defend until Indian Wells.
“If I’m able to stay healthy, start strong, I think I can even jump into that seeded in a Slam range hopefully.
“My number one goal is always to manage my schedule well, and have a couple more fitness blocks in this year too, because at the end of the year, I was getting a bit more fatigued in the wrist than I may have hoped for, but yeah, stay healthy and figure that side is number one.”

Jenson Brooksby’s results at Grand Slams during the 2025 season
Brooksby’s run at the Australian Open last year marked his first Grand Slam appearance since January 2023.
In his return to Melbourne, he suffered a first-round exit, losing to Taylor Fritz in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0, 6-3.
At Roland Garros, Brooksby finally earned a major victory, beating Jaime Faria before exiting the tournament to Sebastian Korda in round two.
His Wimbledon campaign also ended in the second round when he was overcome by Joao Fonseca.
In front of a home crowd at the US Open, Brooksby came through a tough five-setter in the first round against Alexsander Vukic, but bowed out in his next match versus Flavio Cobolli.
