Jermaine Jenas has criticised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele in Football.London.

The former Tottenham midfielder, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has been disappointed with the performances of the 23-year-old France international midfielder.

Jenas believes that there is some issue with Ndombele, who moved to Spurs from Lyon in the summer of 2019.

The Englishman has also criticised Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier, and believes that he makes too many mistakes.

Jenas told Football.London about Ndombele: “He has every attribute in the book but there seems to be a discipline issue with him in regards to whether he’s working hard enough in training.

“Either way I stand by Jose on this and he’s obviously seen something in Tanguy Ndombele that he’s not happy with. He’s either not training hard enough or in games he’s doing things half-hearted.

“Coming on for 10 minutes here and there, doing 15 stepovers and looking very nice on the eye, I’m personally bored of it now and I don’t know what Tottenham fans think. They might feel the same.”

Jenas told Football.London about Aurier: “Serge Aurier has made too many mistakes, it’s as simple as that. He makes too many mistakes, defensively he’s a liability and going forward he’s hit and miss.

“They need more security in the wider areas, something a little bit stronger and on the front foot to cause problems. At the minute they don’t have that in those areas and that is where I’d start.”
