Jermaine Jenas has revealed to BT Sport that Rio Ferdinand and Joleon Lescott were ‘disgusted’ with Everton defender Yerry Mina last night.
Everton beat Tottenham 5-4 yesterday, and the game was one which certainly won’t be noted for defensive excellence.
Mina struggled throughout the contest, and was poor for the second goal which Everton conceded on the night.
The Colombian was beaten by a simple one-two, which allowed Erik Lamela a free shot to score.
And Jenas said: “I have two centre-halves sat next to me, who were disgusted with the footwork really, from Mina’s point of view. But the finish from Lamela was top drawer.”
After the error Mina, otherwise, came through the game relatively well compared to some of the other centre-backs on the pitch.

Mina didn’t make any other terrible errors, which was more than could be said for many of Tottenham’s backline.
Mina may not have done enough to convince Carlo Ancelotti to keep him in Everton’s line-up, though.
Ancelotti has favoured other options in recent weeks, and with Everton set to take on Fulham on Sunday it could be that Mina drops to the bench again.
