Gary Lineker has reacted to Leeds United’s defeat by Arsenal tonight.
The Gunners picked up a brilliant three points against Marcelo Bielsa’s side but it should’ve been a lot more straightforward for the hosts at the Emirates.
Arsenal cruised into a 3-0 half-time lead against a Leeds outfit that have scored and conceded for fun this season, meaning that a second-half comeback wasn’t hugely unlikely.
But Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed his hat-trick within minutes of the restart to effectively kill off the game, though the Elland Road made a good fist of a comeback and scored two consolation goals.
Since returning to the Premier League, Leeds have rightly earned a reputation as being the entertainers in the top flight this season.
And Lineker sent a sarcastic tweet in reference to the fact Bielsa has overseen a lot of end-to-end games.
Leeds were leapfrogged one place by the 10th-placed North Londoners, though they still have played one game less than tonight’s hosts and sit two points behind.
