Aston Villa will be aiming to earn promotion to the Premier League alongside current leaders Norwich City and Leeds United.

Aston Villa ace Jed Steer has warned Leeds United and Norwich City that they fancy themselves to beat ‘anyone’ as the Championship run-in intensifies.
Dean Smith’s side will travel to Elland Road on the penultimate week of the Championship season, whilst they will host current leaders Norwich on the last day of the campaign.
At this moment in time, Villa have won eight games on the bounce and they travel to Bolton on Friday before hosting Millwall three days later.
Speaking to Drive Time on Aston Villa’s official YouTube account, Steer was very bullish about Villa’s recent form and their two massive games against the top two at the end of the season.
“No [it doesn’t get tougher than Norwich and Leeds],” Steer told Drive Time. “They are the top two, at the moment. They’re going to be tough games but they’re going to be good games.
“We’ve always fancied ourselves to beat anyone in this division, so the way we are playing at the moment I think a lot of people would as well.”

By the time Villa travel to Yorkshire their top-six status could be sealed, but Leeds could still be fighting for that second spot with Sheffield United.
But either way, it is set to be an epic showdown because during the reverse leg, Smith’s side went 2-0 up only to lose the game 3-2 with Kemar Roofe netting a stoppage-time winner.
If Marcelo Bielsa’s side do beat Villa on their home patch then they will become the first team to do the double over the Midlands club since their relegation in 2016.
