Fulham’s Jean Seri has confirmed interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Fulham midfielder Jean Seri has told The Times that he had interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, but didn’t feel they respected him in the same way.
The Cottagers enjoyed a productive summer transfer window, landing the likes of Sergio Rico, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Calum Chambers, Alfie Mawson, Joe Bryan, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Luciano Vietto and Andre Schurrle, as well as signing loanee Aleksandar Mitrovic permanently.
However, the biggest signing came with midfielder Seri, as Fulham completed a stunning coup to lure him to Craven Cottage for a fee in the region of £25million (The Telegraph).
Seri was often linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, leaving many fans around the country baffled by his move to newly-promoted Fulham.
So far, the diminutive midfielder has been a star for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side, registering one goal and one assist in four Premier League games whilst providing real invention in the final third.
Seri is 27 and appears to be heading into his prime with Fulham, and whilst a big move could still come in the future, any interested club would have to really prove it to the Ivorian.

Fulham midfielder Jean Seri has told The Times that he did have interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, but neither really made it clear that they truly wanted to sign him.
Fulham gave Seri more respect according to the man himself, and their real desire to sign him – something Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs failed to show – meant he snubbed their interest to make the move to Craven Cottage.
“When I played for Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal, Nice came for me and they really came. Fulham wanted me the same way.” said Seri. “They said, ‘We want you, come to Fulham.’ Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, they saw me but they didn’t say, ‘We want you.’ Because Fulham gave me this respect, although other clubs wanted me, I wanted to sign for Fulham,” he added.
