The Daily Mail quotes Aulas as saying: “Effectively, Nabil is outside [of the two departures expected], because we have an understanding that he can go. Thanks Nabil for bringing what he brought, we have an understanding to let him go.”
Boost for Tottenham Hotspur
Fekir is one of the best attacking players in Europe, and Aulas saying that Lyon will sell him is a boost to Tottenham’s chances of signing him.
The 25-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, made 24 starts and five substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon this season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Fekir made six appearances in the Champions League this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The France international – who is valued between €30 million (£26.44m) and €40m (£35.26m) by the CIES Football Observatory – is at the right age to make a move to Tottenham, who will benefit from his extensive experience in European football as well.
