Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper.

The January transfer window is rapidly approaching and it appears that Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is looking to bring in a new goalkeeper.
Crystal Palace have been vulnerable at the back this season, as demonstrated by the fact that they have conceded 25 goals in the Premier League.
Keeper Wayne Hennessey has been unconvincing and, although Julian Speroni has stepped in at times this season the Argentine is hardly a long-term option given that he is 38 years old.

Palace’s main goalkeeper transfer target appears to be Kevin Trapp, with the Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper eager for regular playing time as he is behind Alphonse Areola in the pecking order over at the French club.
As reported by The Sun, Palace have already made an approach for Trapp.
However, Palace supporters could be forgiven for being rather apprehensive about the move as it bears some similarities to the signing of Steve Mandanda, who spent last season at Selhurst Park after joining from Marseille.

Mandanda arrived with a good reputation having produced some excellent performances in Ligue 1, but he struggled to adapt to Premier League football and subsequently found himself left out of the Crystal Palace side before heading back to Marseille.
Having only previously played in Germany and France, the pace and intensity of the Premier League could prove very difficult for Trapp to deal with.
The difficulties that Mandanda endured may well convince Palace to drop their interest in Trapp and consider an alternative goalkeeper who possesses prior Premier League experience. Michel Vorm, who is currently second choice at Tottenham Hotspur, and Lee Grant of Stoke City are two options worth considering.
There’s no doubt that Crystal Palace under Roy Hodgson have improved, but beefing up between the sticks might go a long way to ensure Premier League survival.
