Leeds have benefited from the Spaniard’s versatility this season.

Having won two of their last three Championship games, Leeds are in determined mood and are eager to start performing consistently during the remainder of the campaign as they look to secure a place in the play-offs.
There have been some difficult moments for Leeds this season, but there have also been some encouraging signs from Thomas Christiansen’s side at times – and Pablo Hernandez has continued to impress.
The Spaniard has demonstrated his versatility this season, having featured as an attacking midfielder and on either flank – and he is capable of making a significant contribution wherever he is deployed.

Making the most of his directness and flair, Hernandez has frequently caused difficulty for Leeds’ opponents and has played some excellent incisive passes.
Leeds host Aston Villa tonight and Hernandez is expected to start on the right wing, where he has been utilised to excellent effect in recent weeks.

Although he is perhaps most effective as an attacking midfielder, where he can be the hub of creativity for Leeds, Hernandez is making an impact out wide for now and if Leeds are to finally achieve promotion back to the Premier League this season he will certainly have a prominent part to play.
