Newcastle are interested in signing Real Madrid shot-stopper Kiko Casilla, as reported by the Daily Mail, and the Spaniard would be an astute acquisition.
It is certainly clear that Newcastle cannot persist with Darlow and Elliot as their main goalkeeping options.
