The Leeds United forward has everything in his locker to be a huge star at Elland Road, literally and metaphorically.

Leeds United supporters did not need long to realise what kind of player they have signed in the form of Jay-Roy Grot.
The 19-year-old arrived at Elland Road last week and he was given 20 minutes to impress against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Replacing Pablo Hernandez with Leeds already 1-0 up, Grot set about showcasing his unique talent, terrorising the opposing defence and making light of the claims that youngsters arriving from different countries take time to acclimatise to English football.
Built like the proverbial house, Grot is a beast of a player who can use his stature to great effect and one wonders who comes off better when he faces up against Pontus Jansson in training.

For the good of Leeds’ season, it may be wise for manager Thomas Christiansen to keep them apart on the training field, because Grot gives as good as he gets and, once he learns to use his power effectively, he could take the Championship by storm.
Most big players are relatively immobile, doing their best work in the six-yard box, but Grot has pace to burn and he showed glimpses of that desire to drive at opponents this weekend.
A battering ram of a player who knows where the goal is and who is only going to get better in the years ahead, on early evidence Leeds have signed a gem.
