Leeds attacker reflects on Carabao Cup loss.

Leeds United talents Jay-Roy Grot and Conor Shaughnessy have had their say on the club’s defeat to Leicester City.
Grot and Shaughnessy were both recalled to the XI as Leeds made 10 changes to their weekend line-up, with the Dutch striker making just his second start to the club.
Despite a bright start, Grot did not give an especially good account of himself – and was criticised by supporters online for his display.
Grot did not respond to any flak coming his way, posting on Instagram yesterday underlining his disappointment at the 3-1 defeat.
His message was echoed by teammate Conor Shaughnessy, who posted on Twitter to express his excitement at getting to play in such a big game.
The young defender was one of Leeds’ better players on the night, and has been unlucky to lose his place recently in the club’s first choice XI.
Shaughnessy’s emergence this season has given Leeds real strength in depth in defence, which has been a big plus for them early on this campaign.
