Criticised Leeds United striker refuses to give up.

Leeds United striker Jay-Roy Grot has sent a defiant message to his critics.
Grot was booed by a section of the support when he was brought on this weekend in Leeds’ victory over Norwich City.
The striker has been used mainly as a substitute this season after signing for the club in the summer, but has been ineffective.

Grot is confident he can turn it around, and refuses to let his hecklers get to him.
Grot posted his message via Instagram’s story function.

Grot was signed as a potential star of the future, and it is too early for the Whites to give up on him.
The powerfully built striker is a Dutch under-19 international and played regularly in the Eredivisie last season. If he can come through this tough period in his Leeds career, he will be a better player for it.
