Leeds United have made their 13th signing of the summer and they may not be done yet.
New Leeds United forward Jay-Roy Grot has been speaking to the club’s official website after his move from Dutch club NEC Nijmegen.
The 19-year-old becomes the club’s 13th signing of a very busy summer and he may not be the last, with the Whites expected to sign one more striker following Chris Wood’s move to Burnley earlier this month.

Speaking to leedsunited.com shortly after his switch was made official, Grot said, “I am very happy. This is such a big club and this is a big step in my career. I am delighted to sign for Leeds United.
“It has been my dream to play in England and so to do that at a club like Leeds is really exciting.”
Grot is predominantly a centre forward although he can also operate on the right wing if required.
He featured 35 times for NEC, scoring six goals in the process, and big things are expected of him in time. However it would be foolish to expect too much too soon as he gets used to a new club and a new country.

With the same applying to fellow new arrival Caleb Ekuban, Leeds really need a proven goal-scorer with experience of English football, but it could be hard to sign the right one with just a week of the transfer window remaining.
The exciting signings continue to come for a Leeds fan base who cannot quite believe what has happened this summer, with new sole owner Andrea Radrizzani true to his word to buy back Elland Road and significantly strengthen the squad.
