West Bromwich Albion are in a great position heading into the final third of the season.

West Brom hitman Jay Rodriguez spoke to reporters after his side’s enthralling 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night, and admitted that he and his teammates went ‘mental’ in the changing room after scoring a last minute winner at Loftus Road, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
The win on Tuesday night was vitally important to the Baggies’ promotion hopes, and they now sit just one point adrift of second placed Sheffield United, and a further two behind league leaders Norwich City.
Rodriguez has played a crucial role in West Brom’s ascendance into the top four this season, and has scored 17 goals in 33 Championship outings thus far.
The 29-year-old will need to continue that kind of goalscoring form, if his side are to crack the top two.
The West Brom hitman spoke to reporters after Tuesday night’s win over QPR, and shared just how much it meant to him and his teammates, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:

“The lads dug in well. Every person in the squad and the staff everyone sticks together here. That’s the outcome we want. The changing room was mental. That’s what football is all about.”
West Brom face two huge games next, with a home clash with Sheffield United tomorrow being followed by a trip to Leeds United the following week, and a return of at least four points from those outings will put Darren Moore’s side in a great position form which to achieve promotion.
