Jay Bothroyd has urged Arsenal on Twitter to sign Ademola Lookman after watching him in action for Fulham against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
The former Arsenal youth player, who turned out for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers among other clubs, was impressed by the performance of Lookman during Fulham’s 1-0 win against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League yesterday.
The 23-year-old winger – who joined the Cottagers on loan from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2020 – played well and was a problem for Neco Williams, as Scott Parker’s side won 1-0.
According to WhoScored, the winger took two shots but they were not on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 75%, took 43 touches, attempted five dribbles, made one tackle and two interceptions, and put in six crosses.
Bothroyd believes that Arsenal should make a move for Lookman in the summer of 2021 as a potential replacement for Martin Odegaard.
The 22-year-old Norway international attacking midfielder joined the Gunners on loan from Real Madrid in the January transfer window until the end of the season.

According to WhoScored, Odegaard has made three starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League and has played twice in the Europa League for the Gunners.
Lookman has made 23 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Fulham so far this campaign, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
