Bothroyd made the claim following Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Sanchez, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, scored a hat-trick for the Gunners.
Former Arsenal prospect Bothroyd, now on the books of Jubilo Iwata, was following the match, and he has claimed on Twitter that the 27-year-old Chile international is the best player in the world.
