New York Giants rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo believe a Super Bowl run is on the horizon, insisting the franchise’s moment is “coming” despite a difficult rookie season.
Speaking from Super Bowl Radio Row in San Francisco, Dart and Skattebo reflected on a year that ended without a playoff appearance but, in their view, laid the foundation for future success.
Both players said watching the postseason from the outside only strengthened their resolve to make sure they are not in the same position again.
Jaxson Dart says Giants frustration is fueling belief
Jaxson Dart admitted it was hard to watch the playoffs knowing the Giants were not part of the picture.
“You never want to finish a season early,” Dart said. “It’s honestly been a struggle a little bit to watch the playoffs and us not be a part of it. But I think that’s just a driving force to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
Jaxson Dart made it clear that the disappointment of the Giants’ rookie season has become motivation rather than discouragement.
“We’ll see it soon,” Dart said. “We’ll touch it when we earn it.”
Cam Skattebo predicts Giants Super Bowl win is coming
Skattebo, who missed the end of the season due to injury, echoed Dart’s frustration but took his comments a step further.
“It sucks, to be honest,” Skattebo said. “We came up short. Very short. And that’s not going to happen again. Hopefully not be sitting in these seats and be in the locker room right now.”
Skattebo then turned his confidence into a direct prediction about the Giants’ future.
“We don’t want to [win the Super Bowl], we’re going to,” Skattebo said.
Both players also credited new head coach John Harbaugh with setting a relentless tone inside the organisation, expressing confidence that his leadership will help push the Giants toward championship contention.
