Javier Manquillo has represented both Newcastle United and Sunderland in the last two seasons.

Manquillo represented Sunderland last season, before making the switch to Newcastle in the summer.
The Spanish defender is one of the few players who has played for both clubs, and when quizzed on which team was bigger, he was keen not to show any disrespect to his former employers.
“Newcastle is a very big club, I’d better leave it at that,” Manquillo joked.

Manquillo’s time at Sunderland did not exactly go according to plan, as the former Liverpool man failed to impress at the Stadium of Light.
Manquillo was a regularly in the Black Cats’ side last season, but he was unable to stop them from falling into the Championship.
The 23-year-old will be hoping that a similar story does not unfold at Newcastle, but there is no doubting that Rafael Benitez’s side are in a relegation fight.

Newcastle may have beaten West Ham United last weekend, but that was their first victory for 10 matches, and they sitting narrowly above the bottom three.
Newcastle are next in action against Manchester City later this evening, when Manquillo is likely to start.
