Javier Hernandez joined West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez has taken to social networking site Twitter to make it clear that he does not want to leave the club.
Spanish sports newspaper Marca recently claimed that Hernandez wants to leave West Ham for Mexican club Chivas in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old striker has made it clear on Twitter that he has no plan to leave the London Stadium.
The former Manchester United star has written the following message on Twitter, which when translated from Spanish reads: “Completely false. I am 100% committed to helping improve the situation that we are all experiencing at West Ham. And as I always say, I am #chivadecorazon but I have not asked to leave West Ham at any time.”
Hernandez’s public display of commitment to West Ham must be great for the fans, as they need a player of his quality in the team.
The former Manchester United striker join the Hammers from Bayer Leverkusen only in the summer of 2017.
The 29-year-old has not been in great form so far this season, but if new manager David Moyes uses him properly, then the striker could produce the goods that everyone expects him to.
West Ham were expected to push for a top-eight in the Premier League this season, but at the moment the Hammers are in danger of going down to the Championship.
