Everton boss Marco Silva will return to Watford for the first time since leaving.

Javi Gracia, Manager of Watford makes a point during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Watford at Emirates Stadium on March 11, 2018 in London, England.

Watford boss Javi Gracia has told the Daily Mail that he thinks the home crowd will be respectful, although he doesn’t know what kind of reception Marco Silva will get when he takes his Everton side to Vicarage Road tomorrow.

It is the first time that Silva will have been back to Watford, since his acrimonious departure from the Hornets.

And the Everton boss is expected to be greeted to a hostile reception from the home fans.

Gracia was asked about what sort of atmosphere he was anticipating ahead of the match.

And the Watford boss said: “I don’t know. I think there will be different opinions and all of them are respectable. I don’t know.

“I expect the supporters back us as they usually do. It is the best thing for us, to feel the support we feel all the games, and I think this game, it will be not different.”

Marco Silva the head coach

Silva is actually under significant pressure at Everton currently, with wins proving hard to come by for the Portuguese boss.

Everton’s form has taken a turn for the worse in recent months, as they have slipped down the Premier League standings.

Watford are currently one place ahead of Everton in the table, and they have a game in hand over the Toffees.
