Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall has raved about Joelinton on BBC Sport ahead of the match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, and has said that he has impressed manager Eddie Howe in training.
Joelinton scored a goal for Newcastle against Brentford in the Premier League last weekend and had a very good game on a personal level.
Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was impressed.
The Brazilian forward is set to start again in the Premier League, this time against Arsenal in North London.
Joelinton impresses Eddie Howe
Newcastle assistant manager Tindall has spoken highly of the 25-year-old, saying that he and manager Howe have been impressed with him since the first day of training,
Tindall told BBC Sport: “Ever since we stepped out on to the training pitch, his talent has been there to see.
“He delivered a really good performance and it wasn’t a surprise to us because we know he’s got it in him – and he’ll get better.
“He is a huge talent and will be a big player both short and long term.”

Encouraging for Joelinton
It must be really encouraging for Joelinton to hear the aforementioned comments from Tindall.
In our view, they show just how much Howe and his coaching staff rate the Brazilian.
We know the problems that the Brazilian has had in front of goal, but maybe things will change under Howe.
The Newcastle no. 7 has scored one goal and provided one assist in six Premier League starts so far this season.
