Crystal Palace host West Ham United at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.
Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon wants his side to make Selhurst Park a difficult place for teams to come, starting with the visit of West Ham on Saturday, speaking to the Croydon Advertiser.
Palace’s only home win this season came against Stoke in a 4-1 thrashing, but they have suffered defeat to West Brom and drawn with Bournemouth, two games which they will have expected to win, and Puncheon wants to see them improve on their own turf, after admitting they have not always been at their best at Selhurst Park.

“It is only right for us as player to put it right on the pitch and make it a fortress, and we have showed we can do that,” Puncheon told the Croydon Advertiser.
However, they face a tough task against a West Ham side who have struggled so far, but Puncheon will not underestimate Slaven Bilic’s men.
“There is no doubt about it, they are a good team.
“They have got good players and a good manager and they will get themselves back up there.”

The Hammers currently occupy the final spot in the relegation zone after a tough start to the season, which has seen them struggle to settle into life at the London Stadium.
A game away from their new home could be something West Ham relish, with the pressure somewhat lifted off them as they spotlight is taken away from them, but Bilic will know it will be a difficult game at Selhurst Park, with Palace’s forward players starting to fire.
Puncheon is the top chance creator in the Premier League so far, and he will hoping to pick out the in-form Christian Benteke to add further misery to West Ham’s season.
