Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers side are without a win in their last four league games.

Rangers midfielder Jason Holt has stressed to the club’s official website just how important it is that Mark Warburton’s men capitalise when they are on top in games by putting the ball in the back of the net.
The Gers are without a win in their last four Scottish Premiership games, but have put in much better performances in their last two fixtures.

However, having played out a goalless draw with Ross County and then suffered a 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen – with the two games being separated by a 5-0 League Cup win over Queen of the South – Holt has explained how vital it is that the team develop a more ruthless streak in front of goal.
“Our performances have been pretty decent but it’s about when we’re on top taking our chances and ultimately putting the ball in the back of the net,” he told the club’s official website.
Kenny Miller is the club’s joint top goalscorer in the league with just two goals
“Against Queen of the South we saw that the first goal changes the game so in games gone by when we haven’t picked up points it’s been because we haven’t been scoring when we’re on top – that is the important thing and we need to look to do that.”
With several players perhaps lacking confidence, Warburton’s men may arguably just need that one goal to restore the belief that will allow them to get their season back on track.
Against Celtic, Joe Garner’s goal just before the break was followed by a brief period in the second-half when the Light Blues looked more like scoring. And if they had managed to equalise and make it 2-2, perhaps that particular result would have been different, and their subsequent run may have seen them collect several more points.
