Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has become frustrated with a lack of additions, but Jason Denayer could be a smart signing.

Manchester City defender Jason Denayer would be a stunning addition to Celtic’s team, and could rank as one of their best signings in years.
Denayer spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Celtic, and he impressed hugely at Parkhead.
The centre back was then a teenager, and his partnership with Virgil Van Dijk was arguably the Bhoys’ finest in recent times.
Denayer was expected to really kick on after his loan move to Celtic, but he has failed to find a home.
The 23-year-old has been on a series of loan spells, and always impressed, but has never been bought permanently.

The 23-year-old would have the potential to be the best centre-back in Scotland from the moment he arrived at Parkhead.
Rodgers has seemingly become frustrated with Celtic’s lack of action so far this summer, with additions proving hard to come by.
But Denayer would be a massive upgrade, and his potential partnership with Dedryck Boyata or Kristoffer Ajer should seriously excite Celtic fans.
