Denayer spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Celtic Park from Manchester City.

Former Celtic favourite Jason Denayer could be loaned to yet another club in January, according to the Turkish website Fanatik.
Denayer was named PFA Scotland’s young player of the year during his season on loan at Celtic Park, but has struggled to hit the same heights in subsequent spells at Galatasaray and Sunderland, on loan from Manchester City.
The 22-year-old is currently back with Gala but has only made six league starts this season and is reportedly wanted by Anderlecht this winter – despite being tied to the Istanbul giants until the end of the campaign.

Celtic, though, are also in need in Denayer’s position, having lost senior trio Dedryck Boyata, Erik Sviatchenko and Jozo Simunovic at various points this term, while a proposed move for RB Leipzig’s Marvin Compper has been thrown into doubt by his manager’s comments on Tuesday.
With Compper 32 anyway and ineligible for the Bhoys’ upcoming Europa League campaign, it’s hard to argue the German would be a better signing than Denayer.

And the Belgian may feel that a return to Celtic Park, where he enjoyed the best spell of his career to date, is the best way of getting it back on track.
Should Celtic move for Denayer if he comes available in January?
