The Belgian teammates have both made loan moves to the Stadium of Light this season.

New Sunderland signing Jason Denayer has told the club’s official website it is great to have Adnan Januzaj at the club alongside him.
Denayer made the move to the Stadium of Light on deadline day of the summer transfer window as David Moyes sought to bolster his defensive options for this season.
He is not the first Belgian to arrive in the North East on loan this season, with Adnan Januzaj having made a switch from Manchester United earlier in the summer.

And the defender says it is great to have his compatriot at the club, adding that he will be happy should they get to play together.
“It is great to have Adnan here,” he told the club’s official website.
“It is not always easy to come to a new club when you know nobody, but he’s here to help me and I know him very well. We’re very good friends and we will be happy if we play together on the pitch.”

Whether Denayer and Januzaj play together often for Sunderland this season remains to be seen.
The midfielder has already been a regular in the side and is likely to be one of the first names on the team sheet on a regular basis given he is arguably the main creator in the side.
Denayer, however, faces a fight to get into the team and it will be interesting to see how often the two actually end up playing together this season.
