Dembele has been linked with a move away from Spurs.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has claimed on Twitter that he reckons Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure is better than Mousa Dembele.
Dembele, 30, was knocked out of the World Cup as Belgium suffered a 1-0 loss to France on Tuesday night in the semi-final of the competition in Russia. Belgium will play a third-place play-off against the losers of England and Croatia.
His future at Spurs remains a huge doubt, with only a year left on his current contract with Mauricio Pochettino and being linked with moves to the Serie A and the Chinese Super League.
Spurs have been linked with Watford’s Doucoure of late, and the Daily Mirror claim Spurs and any other interested parties would have to shell out £40million to land the 25-year-old. Cundy claimed Doucoure is “by a mile” better than Dembele.
Doucoure starred for Watford last season, scoring seven goals and laying on another four assists – missing only one Premier League fixture for the Hornets.
It remains to be seen if Spurs will go back in for the Frenchman, with only two years on his contract left to run. Spurs are likely to be after a central midfielder, though, with only Dembele, Harry Winks, Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier to choose from.
