Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be targeting a move for Jason Cummings from Nottingham Forest this month.

Cummings only moved to Forest in the summer, and although he has fallen out of favour, the Scottish striker had hoped that a change of manager would propel him back into the first-team.

However, Karanka is said to be targeting bringing in Bamford, and if the Middlesbrough forward does sign, then Cummings’ chances at the City Ground will surely be even more limited.
At Rangers, however, Cummings could be a key man – and that should convince him that a move to Glasgow would be a great option.

Rangers have picked Alfredo Morelos to lead the line this term, but the Colombian is raw, and Cummings would likely arrive as Murty’s first choice striker.
With Karanka seemingly looking at other strikers, Cummings may be better off leaving Forest if the opportunity arises, and he should now have seen that taking up Rangers’ offer is his best option.
