Jason Cummings says he wants Rangers stay

Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers brought Jason Cummings to the Gers on loan from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.

Rangers striker Jason Cummings has told the club’s official Twitter page that he wants to remain at Ibrox.

Cummings joined Scottish Premiership club Rangers on loan from Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old striker is scheduled to remain at Ibrox until the end of the season and then return to Forest.

The Scotland international striker has made it clear that he wants to remain at Rangers beyond the summer, but the former Hibernian star has admitted that he has been frustrated at times due to playing time.

Cummings told Rangers’ official Twitter page: “Personally I want to stay and I want to be here.”

The youngster added: “It has been frustrating at times with game time, I was hoping to get a few more starts but I’m focused on the future and I think this is just the beginning for me at Rangers. I enjoyed it down there (Nottingham Forest) but I have loved it here.”

Rangers fans seem to be pleased that Cummings wants to remain at Ibrox.

Cummings has made 10 appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The youngster’s performances for the Gers this campaign have been mixed, but it has not helped his cause that he has not always started matches.

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 69 points from 37 matches, a point behind second-placed Aberdeen
