Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings scored just one league goal during his time at the City Ground.
Cummings joined Forest from Hibernian last summer, but he was unable to show he was up to playing in the Championship.
The 22-year-old hit just one goal in 14 league appearances for Forest, and he was swiftly moved on after Aitor Karanka took charge.
Cummings has now joined Rangers on loan, but he insists that he enjoyed his time playing in England.
“Do you know what? You might be surprised, but I actually enjoyed being under the radar a bit,” Cummings said. “I had a good time at Forest.
“It’s obviously not as intense down there so I could walk down to the shops and it was sound. I actually enjoyed that, being a bit under the radar.”
Cummings’ future at Forest now looks firmly in doubt, as he could leave permanently in the summer if he impresses at Rangers.
Forest are on the look out for attacking additions, which could mean that Cummings slips even further down the pecking order this month.
Cummings could make his Rangers debut later this evening, when Graeme Murty’s side take on Aberdeen.
Forest, meanwhile, are next in action at the weekend – when they take on Hull City in the FA Cup at the KC Stadium.
