Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.

Earlier this month, The Hull Daily Mail reported that Tottenham Hotspur had a scout watch Jarrod Bowen in action for Hull City against Queens Park Rangers.

Bowen is one of the best forwards in the Championship and has been playing well for Hull so far this season.

The 22-year-old has made 23 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Tigers so far this campaign, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Leeds United are also interested in Bowen, according to The Daily Mail, and it would make sense for the forward to pick Marcelo Bielsa’s side over Tottenham.

Of course, Tottenham are competing for the Premier League title and are also in the Champions League, and the North London outfit can also offer Bowen much more money in wages than Leeds can.

However, at Spurs, the former Hereford United youngster will be a squad player and will find it hard to play regularly for manager Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

Bowen is not going to find it easy to break into the Leeds staring lineup rightaway either, but given his experience and current form, head coach Marcelo Bielsa will certainly give him a proper chance and will make him an important player in his team during the second half of the season.

Moreover, Leeds do have an urgent need for Bowen, who has reportedly been identified as a replacement for Samuel Saiz, who is leaving for Getafe on loan in the January transfer window.
