West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen has expressed his disappointment on Instagram at missing a late chance against Leeds United at London Stadium.
The Hammers suffered a 3-2 defeat to Leeds at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
Bowen, who can play as a winger, forward or midfielder, scored for the Hammers in the 33rd minute.
The 25-year-old had another chance to score late on.
Instead of heading a cross, Bowen decided to try to chest it into the goal.
The effort was not on target.
West Ham manager David Moyes criticised Bowen – who cost the Hammers £20 million in transfer fees (BBC Sport) – after the match, and said that he should have headed it.

Bowen has taken to Instagram to express his disappointment at his miss, and he has received a very good and encouraging reply from his West Ham teammate Declan Rice.
Jarrod Bowen a big player for West Ham
In our view, Bowen should not be too disappointed at missing the chance or West Ham against Leeds.
It happens.
The former Hull City star has been superb for Moyes’s team this season and is one of the first names on the teamsheet now.
The West Ham no. 20 has made 21 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season.
Bowen has scored six goals and provided seven assists in those games.
The attacker scored eight goals and gave five assists in 30 league starts for the Hammers last season.
