Aston Villa and Leeds United could potentially meet in the playoffs at the end of the season.

Jack Grealish of Aston Villa celebrates following the Bet Championship match between Sheffield Wednesday and Aston Villa at Hillsborough Stadium on April 06, 2019 in Sheffield, England.

Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen has named Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish and Leeds duo Pontus Jansson and Pablo Hernandez in his 5-a-side team.

The other Championship players to make Bowen’s dream side were Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland and Sheffield United hitman Billy Sharp.

Aside from Butland, whose Stoke side have enjoyed a poor campaign, the other players have been in fine form and will be looking to earn promotion to the Premier League this season.

Speaking to Not The Top 20 Pod’s Official Twitter account, Bowen was full of praise for the ‘unbelievable’ Grealish and the brick wall this is Jansson.

“Jack Butland in goal for Stoke,” Bowen told Not The Top 20 Pod. “At the back, Pontus Jansson because he would probably run through a brick wall if you told him to. I think he’d keep the goals out.

“In midfield, Grealish because the ball sticks to him like glue. I’d imagine he’d be unbelievable in 5-a-sides. Pablo Hernandez from Leeds because of the vision he has got. Up front, Billy Sharp because of his finishing ability. I think he’d score wherever in a 5-a-side.”

Leeds United's Pontus Jansson finishes the game in goal during the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Sheffield United at Elland Road on March 16, 2019 in Leeds, England.

From the players mentioned, one of them could arguably state that they are the best player in the second tier of English football.

There is no doubt that Hernandez and Grealish are up there on the list, whilst Butland is an England international, Jansson has been one of the most consistent top performing defenders in recent seasons and Sharp’s goal record speaks for itself.

As mentioned before, at least one of the players above will be playing Premier League football next season because their respective teams are in the top-six.
