The Sparta Rotterdam striker is said to have interested Bolton Wanderers during the winter transfer window.

Three months after he was linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers, Michiel Kramer is again without a club.
The towering Dutch striker was freed by Feyenoord at the end of the January transfer window, to accommodate the re-signing of Robin van Persie.
But despite alleged interest from Bolton – who had recently sold their top scorer, Gary Madine, to Cardiff City – Kramer moved to Feyenoord’s cross-city rivals, Sparta Rotterdam, instead.

Just eight games (two goals and two assists) later, however, the 29-year-old has had his employment terminated by Sparta, after he was handed seven-game ban for kicking Alex Buttner in the face – as confirmed by the Dutch side’s official website.
The incident occurred during Sparta’s 7-0 defeat at Vitesse Arnhem on Saturday – with the away side already 3-0 down – resulting in a straight red card for the offending player.
Could Bolton renew interest?
That means Kramer is back on the market ahead of the summer transfer window, and fresh interest from Bolton would come as little surprise, with strikers Zach Clough and Tyler Roberts due to return to Nottingham Forest at the end of their loan spells, and Madine’s physical presence yet to be properly replaced.
Although relegation back to League One could scupper any plans the Trotters may have.
